Iron Spikes
The Iron Spike mountains are a very rough terrain even as far as a mountain range goes. But inside the mountains lies the most profitable ore to ever exist, Black Iron. The Iron Spike mountains have always had an ominous feel to them, but was more of a mystery before Hugo. With Hugo City becoming the metropolis that it has become was large in part due to the Black Iron that is mined from these mountians. They are massive and still only a small percentage of them have been mined over the past 600 years or so.

Some snow in the winter months, but for the most part, all ominous all year round.
Localized Phenomena
There is a legend that if you climb to the top of the highest peak of the Iron Spikes on a dark cloudy night then Maximilian, god of weather will come and judge you. If you pass the test then he will grant you unrivaled magical power.

None, nothing. If it existed it is now nothing more than a dried up dead shrub.

The only ones allowed close the the Spikes are Hugo, his officers, and those who work the Black Iron mines.
