Black Iron Mines
The Black Iron Mines is the most important people group and section in all of Hugo City. Goliath, Dragonborn, Kobolds, Orcs, half-orcs, are the main races you will find here. Those who work in, and live near, the mines are treated with the most respect a traditional worker would get. They are paid more than the average factory worker in Hugo City. It is considered to be a great honor to mine the Iron Spkies and it is also lucky to be born into a family who has been mining the Spikes for a long time. Hugo often frequently comes himself to check up on the production of the Black Iron. It is said that Hugo himself is kind and generous to those who work these mines.
Purpose / Function
To mine as much Black Iron as possible.
Alterations
The more Black Iron that is mined the more refineries need to be built in order to keep up with the amount that is being mined.
Architecture
Mostly stone buildings and dwellings. This is to accomodate for the crazy amount of heat that the furnaces emit. Any wooden houses and that could cause a massive fire.
History
The Black Iron Mines have been around for a very long time. About 700 years. First it started out as an experiment that turned into Hugo City's greatest discovery.
Tourism
No one who is not of importance or a dedicated worker in the mines are allowed in the near them.
