White Pantheon
The White Pantheon is a group of deities closely tied to Asurman, consisting of Asurman and his children, the The Twelve Guardian Deities and a few other gods who serve under Asurman. These deities and their teachings typically resolve around good and lawful allignments.
The Promise of Paradise
The home realm of the deities of the white pantheon is known as the paradise heaven, Aaru. Followers of the white pantheon are promised, that should they live a life loyal to the teachings of the pantheon, that your soul shall enter Aaru, and you shall be reborn and live a life in paradise along side the gods.Judgement
Before a soul is permitted to enter Aaru, it is first judged by Kunsel, whose primary duty is to prevent unworthy souls from entering paradise and corrupting it. Those with a pure soul enter Aaru to be reborn, and live an eternal life in paradise. However, those souls that do not succeed the judgement are sent back into the cycle. Those who lived a decent life, but fell short of being able to enter Aaru are reborn back into the Mortal plane to try once more. Souls that have been corrupted by evil and darkness are banished into the Underworld, where the Black Pantheon resides.History
The White Pantheon became the primary religion on the continent of Iyos during the Great Demon War. During the conflict, the gods of this pantheon saved the mortal races by erecting sanctuaries and trained warriors to fight back against the demonic hordes that washed over the world at that time.
Mythology & Lore
While widely taught by the Church of Light, the story of how Asurmen was one of the creator gods of the world of Azure is not widely accepted by scholars or other religous organisations.
