Prisela’s Disappearance
Lavran was glad to see Prisela and Malkisaidek falling in love and expected his sister to become the Dayani queen. Yet Malkisaidek wed the neighbouring princess
Borena, while Prisela disappeared without a trace. The brother started searching throughout the empire, but to no avail. Until a single letter stopped his pursuit.

The Silver Arm
Lavran took part in the
Grand Metal War, a decade-long conflict pitting Dayaen against Firoz and the
Amaar Empire. During the
Fall of the Steel Bastion, bronze
dharaat Uvyir cut off Lavran’s left arm. The war ended with Malkisaidek killing Firozi Maharaja
Dahaab. Lavran used Firozi Queen
Shaanur’s silver body as an arm prosthetic.
Taking of Firoz
Lavran suggested occupying Firoz to spread Malkisaidek’s influence. The proposition was tempting, and the Dayani
khelmtiphe agreed. Lavran became the de facto leader, ruling the kingdom with an iron grip. Malkisaidek gifted him the eyes of the five golden dharaat kings, which Lavran placed on his turban.
Lavran doesn’t make living a complete hell for the Firozi. Instead, he instils distrust and betrayal amongst people. He speaks fluent Firozi and always keeps his word, causing many to prefer living safely under his rule, instead of supporting the frequent rebellions.
"It would be better for you to tell me who the rebel is. For all of us.
If they surrender, we all live. No one’s hurt!
If the rebel persists and you warn the kingdom. What can I do? I have to get rid of them.
But if you lie to me, the consequences will be disastrous. And you know, I can’t stand being disastrous. Don’t take me out of my comfort zone."
He adopted Dahaab’s grandson
Dahaab IX, announcing him as an heir and gaining the goodwill of many Firozis.
Underground City of Firoz
Underneath Firoz, a multi-level city spreads as a web of tunnels, rooms and dead ends. It became a haven for Firozi resistance. Lavran has found several entrances before, yet the rebels immediately cut off access and disappear into the underground maze.
Blue-haired bastard
One day, an unmasked Golden Nighabi mage visited Lavran and asked if she was his daughter. The accusation puzzled Lavran, as following Piino’s birth, he stayed cautious and ensured no accidents occurred. But the girl’s blue eyes and hair mixed with features resembling both Prisela and Malkisaidek confirmed her origin. Lavran denied her claim and let her go, while secretly spreading rumours of the khelmtsiphe’s bastard travelling to Dayaen.
Magic
Lavran can make people want to do or feel anything he says, while their bodies can't perform the action or feel the specific emotion. If he orders to
not do or feel something, the victim can’t help but do the action or feel the emotion.
Lavran hides magic from anyone aside from Prisela. The Firozi ruler has a friendly relationship with his
star, who enjoys seeing Lavran use its magic.
“Let’s test our powers, my boy! Come on! Fight!”
The person wants to run towards Lavran and fight, but freezes in place.
“No no no no don't kill him!”
The victim doesn't want to kill but can't stop the body and kills the person.
The Fanclub
After Lavran took control of Firoz, several people wished to serve under him for utterly absurd reasons. He became fond of the group and enjoys watching them bicker like siblings for his attention.
Darla insists she is his bastard daughter. No matter how many times Lavran refutes her claims, she stays close as a trusty soldier and his guard.
“Woman, I was eleven at the time!”
Ektor Is an artist obsessed with Lavran’s blue hair and aims to recreate it. Lavran keeps him as a personal cartographer.
Ektor's wife,
Delilah, is a sculptor who frequently gifts Lavran her work. The Firozi ruler often sends her hardened dharaat body parts as materials.
“My attempts are just mere imitations! I will do justice to your lustrous blues, my liege!”
“I have no doubts.”
Logvan mentions seeing Lavran fight during the
Duel at the Istahir Wastes and inspiring his love of battles. He mimics speech and often helps Lavran interrogate prisoners by using their loved one’s voices.
“I’ve never fought under Istahir.”
“You are too humble, my lord!”
Vasash claims to be young Firozi rebel
Zabeelon's old friend and wishes to help Lavran catch him. Lavran doesn’t trust his words, but the boy is a promising spy.
“That one’s the true Zabeelon!”
“So was the previous one.”
Notable Relationships
Prisela
Lavran was protective of his sister since childhood, and the two kept each other safe. He blames himself for Prisela’s disappearance and regrets putting her aside following Malkisaidek’s rebellion. After receiving her letter, Lavran is content knowing she’s alive and safe.
Malkisaidek
Lavran adored Malkisaidek’s charisma, might and determination. However, the khelmtsiphe’s negligence of Prisela and her disappearance became a wake-up call.
Lavran acts as a loyal subordinate while hiding his resentment towards Malkisaidek.
Martha and Piino
Lavran views Martha as a short-time affair, while Piino – a mistake of youth. He doesn’t keep in touch with either.
Reon
Lavran viewed Reon as a responsible man he could learn a lot from. He respected the amirspasalari’s cautiousness and considered him the true ruler of Dayaen.
Paralansarr
Lavran acted as the young prince’s mentor in combat. He finds amusement in
Paralansarr's contrasting personality compared to Malkisaidek, but sees the prince’s perceptiveness as a potential threat.
Zabeelon
Lavran enjoys toying with the Firozi revolutionaries, giving hope and crushing them when the time is right. The young hot-headed rebel is no exception. Lavran doesn’t remember what Zabeelon looks like and often calls any young dharaat rebel
“a Zabeelon”.
“Congratulations, boy! You are worth three Zabeelons!”
Dahaab IX
Firozi de facto ruler is raising Dahaab’s grandchild as his heir and the future ruler. He aims to use the boy as leverage against the rebels, gain the approval of Firozis and further split the rift between people.
