This is a shire like community, and is huge by halfling standards. The main export here is food stuffs, tobacco, and liquor.
One only has to look and there is all manner of ranger type folk around. They patrol the areas and watch over the little people of the realm. This is a profoundly serious charge, and the rangers take it very seriously. They don't try to stop any hobbit from venturing out though. They will help them, train them, and let them be on their way. Most of the hobbits know they are being protected but the rangers do an excellent job of staying out of the way and the 1/2lings just go on with their lives.
The tobacco is some of the best in the world and there is said to be some magical properties to it, being so close to the Diamond Wood Forest helps with this belief. It is said that the hobbits have a special relationship with the Witch of the forest but if they do it is a closely guarded secret.

The city, although under the rule of Elenia, gives very little support to the crown. They do produce a lot of food and do not over charge for it, so that is why the crown does to pursue it to heavily.

Water Resources: Can support 35,000 people.
