Berryvale

This village is fortified and ready for battle. They trade with everyone and have an efficient entry and exit system to keep things from getting out of control.

Government

The Baron and the mayor Iliana run the city.

Infrastructure

They have some small churches here, that cropped up rather quickly, but the population is not quite ready to support them all. Quitari is the most prominent, and a small temple called the Place for Lost Souls. The Sivan Faith has a presence here and there are talks to find a cleric to build a temple.

The village is just a fishing village currently and does not have the population or infrastructure to reach all of its resources.

Guilds and Factions

The Devil's Brigade trains here and has their HQ here. There is no AG office here.

History

Tiara Tribune - November 3766: Andraeus Serra dies at the age of 71. Andraeus Serra was a Mariner of Sivan. He retired from his adventuring group, The Ravens, to return home here in Berryvale. Andraeus was the leader of the Sivan faith here in Berryvale. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. A request has been sent to the church of Sivan for a new Mariner. He leaves behind his wife Anna and three children and 7 grandchildren. He was memorialized in Berryvale you can see the Monument to Andraeus Serra here.

Architecture

Most homes and huts are made from maple wood, while a few are brick.

Geography

The main island of the Black Sapphire Atoll was created from the remnants of an old volcano. Most of the beaches are grey or black. But life finds a way and there are maple trees here now as well as soil to grow a few things.

Mining Resources: 3 shale, 3 gold, 3 lead, 2 nickel, and 1 brick material.
Fishing Resources: 2 lobster, 2 cod, and 2 tuna.
Gem Mines: sardonyx, malachite, rhodochrosite, wonderstone, deep-blue spinel, moss agate, and 2 quartz.
Water Resources: Can support 24,000 people.
