Mermur
An old elven town with a population of 1.3k. Many who live here follow the old teachings of Mermur. Elves and Dwarves live here in harmony as they try to bring peace and knowledge to the rest of the world. Temples to Kor, Tyr, and Sylvanus are found here underneath the memory tree planted by Mermur. The tomb and church of Ivaldi is also located here. This is the second to last stop for the pilgrims as they build a hand made boat to take it down the river to Palentien. A tavern/inn/restaurant known as The Glittering Leaf is located here. Lady Eris and Sir Averan look over the town, old friends of Ivaldi.
Guilds and Factions
The Travelers of Mermur, an adventuring company, is located here. They work with the Temple of Mermur, an academy that teaches Conjuration (up to level 9) and Necromancy (up to level 7). Other courses they are known for are studies of the fey wild, medicine, and alchemy.
History
This was once a fey sanctuary built by an ancient being known as Mermur. He had planted the tree of memory here as a sign of good will to all the creatures from the fey wild. He disappeared a few decades back as the elves that lived safely here built up a village. Dwarves saw this safe place and helped the elves as the village grew to its current stature.
