Lord James de Rhodes is one of the most prominent representatives of the military faction of the Custodes.
Son of two non-commanding officers has excelled in schools. That granted him a scholarship at the Institute of Technology. During his studies he became friends with Lord Anthony de Stark. After graduation he enrolled to Atlantan Military Academy and received his first commission in November 1992.
Several successful missions later he was granted position as Socius to Familia de Stark and was named Weapons Procurement Liaison to Stark-Carbonell Industries, working closely with Tony as the military evaluator of de Starks' inventions.
Given his position, he was part of the diplomatic envoy that accompanied Tony Stark to Afghanistan in 2008.
