The end of the New Terran Republic at the hands of the 1st Imperial Republic of Jerace during the 1st Galactical War, spelled an end to the Golden Age of Discovery, and general peace in the galaxy. The Galactic Hegemony of Jerace would rise to replace it, with no nation proving powerful enough to stand against it for six centuries.
