The Andisien Bloc was a union of six left-wing parties that arose to prominence in the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets during and in the aftermath of, the 1st Federation Civil War. It was named after the Andis Family, whose members notably began the Andis Revolt, a direct precursor to the Civil War.
For just under a century, the Andisien Bloc was the dominant political party in the Federation, losing the Federal majority in the Senate just twice in over 96 years. Four Presidents of the Federation belonged to the party during this period, Benjamin Picket, Emily Raien, Ryan Graysol, and Caterina Flynn.
