Lyonesse: Capital City of Clearwater
Government
The core of the Clearwater Kingdom resides here in Lyonesse with the Royal Family and the Clearwater Court both residing in the city. Most laws and smaller legislation is passed by the Clearwater Court with major decisions that affect the entire Kingdom being passed by the King for final approval
Defences
The capital city has a small portion of the kingdom's army stationed and rotated throughout the city as city guards and there are also the Rosecrest Knights who have half of their units stationed in the city as well. Lyonesse is also surrounded by well-guarded walls with siege equipment positioned atop to protect against assaults.
Industry & Trade
Not only does the Capital city provide various products produced with their clean water but also is the biggest producers of clear glass that is used by many if not all of the kingdoms of the realm with only the elven kingdom of Eldamar being an exception.
Infrastructure
As the kingdom of Clearwater is considered the kingdom of water, the capital city boasts the cleanest water of the many kingdoms in the realm with channels of water flowing throughout the kingdom, and most if not all the homes have a way of accessing clean drinking and bathing water. The use of water is a major part of the city with various watermills dotting the outer reaches of Lyonesse providing and powering a variety of jobs. The flow of water also allows Lyonesse to have a complex sewer system that stretches throughout the underbelly of the city which makes Lyonesse be a considerably cleaner city in comparison to other kingdoms rivaling even the Immortal City of the Jade Empire in cleanliness.
Assets
Despite the kingdom of Clearwater having large quantities of glass-making materials the capital city actually after years spent harvesting the silica in the surrounding area has very little silica remaining. In Lyonesse whereas there is little silica the crystal clear water flows throughout the city.
Geography
Sitting in the shade of the tallest mountains of the continent Lyonesse is in a unique location the gives it access to three different types of water. Residing close to the coast the city has clear access to the seawater and sands that form on their coasts, Lyonesse also has various dense forests bordering the city's outer reaches which together with the gently sloping hills and clear lakes and rivers makes Lyonesse and the Kingdom of Clearwater a beautiful and idyllic location.
Natural Resources
Lyonesse sits right atop a deposit of silt that provides the materials to make clear and strong glass that is used as a major commodity of the Kingdom and the city's populace,
