Tomasa
Tomasa was the capital of Hawk Island until recently, when the city fell to the Xomalai. His ritual to bring him to the material plane destroyed the city, and what was left was slashed apart in a hungry fury from the Archon. 40 survivors made it and are currently working hard to fix what they can until their city can be whole once again. Roughly 60 other people have ventured to the city to help with the rebuilding efforts.
Tomasa was hit by the tsunami that resulted from Zenos crashing into the sea, but as tsunamis go it was minimal damage because of the location of the city being in the middle of the island and the angle of the wave. The wave washed away a lot of the old, non-stone debris away, but the people had a few new clerics, druids, and other adventures who knew how to seal up a hole to the underground and hide the 100 or so people from the wave.
Defences
Had large stone walls surrounding the city, a keep that could protect the people of the city, a Wizards' tower in near the keep looming over all, and a underground escape via Arcane Gates that had Golems protecting the gates. Now the tower is rubble, the keep and walls need massive repairs, and the underground escape via Arcane Gates are still functional but the Golems are now hostile to everything.
History
Has been the capital of Hawk Island since it was unified by House Fenheart. Lord Fenheart and his court wizard Neva ruled the Fenheart lands from this city for years, until the Oakenshields took it from them. Afterwords, House Oakenshield put in a proxy government and the island was controlled by the government in Tomasa. Once Lord Valkar rose and took over the Oakenshield lands, vampires infested and took over the Island. They took power but kept the proxy government in power, acting like nothing was different as they built up their forces. The inhabitants of Tomasa were in the midst of an uprising when the Xomalai was summoned.... the people of the city never stood a chance.
Architecture
Rebuilding, currently doesn't have an architecture that could be named other then survival.
Geography
Surrounded by beautiful forests and rivers, Tomasa was a beautiful city. While it didn't have access to the ocean, the views of the surrounding country side was breathtaking. While the views and forests are still beautiful, the city is in ruins.
Natural Resources
The forests around the city are the main resources for Tomasa. While the farmlands of Port Velarno sustain the majority of the food for Tomasa, the forests provide a good amount of meat and herbs for the people. The lumber from the forests provide the building materials for the city, while the stone is gathered from Heskin.
