Dolothea
Dolothea is the house seat of the Medici lands and a major trading port for all of Eregoth. Many folk make their fortunes and find a place in the bustling streets of the port city. All of the people in Dolothea know that the old blood that runs through its heart has one focus, the Family comes first.
Demographics
The city and the port of Dolothea are noticeably diverse compared to the rest of Eregoth. The population contains multitudes of all racial groups; with large amounts of Tieflings, Dragonborn, and Dark Elves. Many Medici care not for where you come from, they would rather pay attention to your status or coin. However, this focus has led to a very distinct class gap in the city, making it hard on the downtrodden lower caste.
Government
Medici rule over Dolothea has become decentralized. Currently there are two political parties vying for dominance in the Medici lands, the Draconic Diarchy and the Pact Bearers. Defences
Industry & Trade
Infrastructure
Dolothea is built around an extravagant citadel, the Tyrium. A palace for the finest Medici minds that shows their opulence and power. At the center of the palace is the Basilica of Saint Tyrius, a shrine of worship dedicated to The Tongue. The palace also contains the headquarters of the Medici armada, the Hands, and the supreme court of Dolothea. The palace is the focus and therefore the further away from the Tyrium you are the worse the city becomes.
Guilds and Factions
Dolothea hosts many guilds and mercantile groups looking for fortune and fame. The Medici Academy of Arts and War is the center of learning and education in the land. Many famous wizards and captains have graduated from the Academy in the past. Crime pays in Dolothea and therefore the thieves guild known as the Hands have a major stake in the city and its business.
Geography
Dolothea is built by the sea with the Dead Wood at its back. Little is able to grow near the city, but some farms are able to thrive along the coast.
