Sir Medrik Maan
A noble knight in service to Dorreon II.
Sir Medrik was one of the Four Companions, the others being Sister Salvian, Speller Lily Finn, and Sir Laurel Odon.
Sir Medrik was a mere squire when he was charged to accompany Dorreon the Green Prince on his great progress, but was knighted sometime before they reached Dubraigh. Though there were many knights as part of the Prince's company, most assume Sir Medrik was dubbed by Sir Laurel Odon. Later, the Prince received his own knighthood from Sir Medrik after his victory at Tyr's Harbor.
Sir Medrik would serve as a chief in the King's army when they marched back north for Dorreon's great victory at Ghastfort. After this, it is assumed the King boarded a ship at Tyr's Harbor in order to sail south. He was joined by Sir Medrik and Sister Salvian, but no others. It is assumed the ship sank on the way home, as the three were never seen again.
