A Speller and historian in service to Dorreon II
Lilly Finn was one of the Four Companions, the others being Sir Medrik Maan, Sister Salvian, and Sir Laurel Odon.
Lily accompanied Dorreon the Green Prince on his great progress, primarily to record his actions. Many expected she was charged to make a record and report back to the King's Council, but this was never proved. Her record of the great progress, as well as King Dorreon's victory at Ghastfort would be pored over by countless spellers and even wizards over the years.
Vilma Vain calls it "among the greatest of tragedies" that Lily Finn would die half a century before the Return of the Wizards. Several copies of her histories, typically named "The Green Prince's Progress," can be found in the New Spellery at Cantef, and parts of it are sung by magicians all over the Peninsula, but much of what Lily Finn saw is lost, as by her own admission she recorded only half of what she observed.
