The second daughter and youngest child of Golbran Ainros the Ruby Prince, younger sister to Gwynt the Ghastly.
Gilda was a timid child, and has thus become best known as a victim of Gwynt the Ghastly. Despite being king, Gwynt had trouble finding a bride, and eventually settled on his own sister. Gilda was wed against her will, which led to the Chief Clans arresting and trying Gwynt the Ghastly for the murder of Queen Gilda's dignity. Their marriage was dissolved, and Gilda was given to a hostel to serve. For this, Gilda is sometimes called the Fortnight Queen.
