The second-largest sect of the Azaradi faith. Like all sects of the faith, AnAzarad believes in the Eternal Realm, and the diei that seek to extract chaos from our world and replace it with order from theirs, which manifests in good fortune and general morality. Like most sects, AnAzarad also believes that we mortals hold some responsibility to facilitate this process, and that we must act and pray in ways that foster order in the Mortal Plain.
AnAzarad is a major reform that swept through Vaina about five centuries ago. Despite being only the second most popular sect in the nation, it is the official religion of the country and Court Castilla of Felissaria State. AnAzarad holds that, in order to eliminate chaos from our world, we must ourselves maximize our orderliness and adherence to control. By creating as little chaos as we can, the diei of the Eternal Realm will be less distracted and thus drawn to those places of great chaos on our Mortal Plain, greatly minimizing its presence in our world.
Critics of this sect suggest that it implies an adherence to Azaradi Fatalism: the belief that chaos can and should ultimately be completely eliminated from the Mortal Plain. Most sects do not adhere to this, recognizing that the Mortal Plain naturally tends toward chaos, and that removing it entirely is impossible. Most AnAzaradi hold that, while completely eliminating chaos is impossible, seeking to minimize it as much as possible, all over, is the ideal. They contrast this with the Church of Disorder (the largest sect), which they say encourages people to think chiefly of themselves and maximizing order in their own lives.
Although Fatalism is officially incompatible with AnAzarad, its adherents are taught to be sympathetic toward Fatalists. It may be impossible to eliminate chaos, but efforts to do so will of course minimize its presence, which is beneficial to everyone.
