Fallis Imarioth (fə.lʏs.ˈ ʏ.mɛ.ˈri.ɔθ)

Fallis Imarioth

Fallis. That's me. I was born to a clan of belios wyverns in the Furahiya mountains north of Kopek. Shortly after being able to walk, I was pushed into pulling my own weight. Life among my people demands toughness, and I proved quickly to be no runt. All was well for years, I got in touch with the local Hunters Guild, and sharpened my skills through their training regimen, though I knew they would never allow me to hunt. Not back then. Looking at it now, would almost call it racism, but regardless, they were keen to pin fault on the monster-kin. Might be why they so quickly blamed me for a raid on one of their caravans. No survivors, no witnesses that could have spoken up on my behalf. My clan was pressured into exiling me... I dislike, but do not blame them for caving to such demands. I was also barred from entering Guild locations as well. In the course of my exile, I happened upon another Fujiokan... him. Erhaqui.
No surprise, then, when I took the first chance to get off-world, what did surprise me, and what ticked me off as well, is him coming along. Our first stop was a space station, which we drifted through, and did small jobs to make a living. Of course, I never settled into a job properly. None of it appealed to me. I got a taste for roughing people up, though, from a security personnel gig, even if I was a bit too intense for their needs. Then, though, one evening I was shot at... it didn't hurt much, causing me only a flinch before the world became fuzzy. Blurry.

A hand wielding a tactical shield can still hold another object and be used to reload weapons, but it cannot wield weapons or other shields. You can use a tactical shield to make a special unarmed strike that does not count as archaic. SPECIAL ABILITIES
Mercenary (+1 Str): Whether you take jobs that match your ethical beliefs or you fight for anyone who can afford your services, you are a hired gun. You most likely work with other mercenaries and are familiar with the methodologies of military actions all across the galaxy.
Theme Knowledge (1st Level): You are knowledgeable about the military, from rival mercenary groups to standard military procedures to planetary armed forces, and you can draw upon this fount of information to aid your adventurous pursuits. Reduce the DC of Culture checks and Profession (mercenary) checks to recall knowledge about hierarchies, practices, personnel, and so on in the military by 5. Athletics is a class skill for you, though if it is a class skill from the class you take at 1st level, you instead gain a +1 bonus to Athletics checks. In addition, you gain an ability adjustment of +1 to Strength at character creation.
Blitz(Primary Fighting Style): Focused on using speed and aggression to get into the thick of melee. You increase your speed and responsiveness, gain abilities that make you better at melee combat than your enemies, and keep on fighting even when surrounded by foes.
Fighting Style Technique(s)
Rapid Response (Ex): You gain a +4 bonus to initiative checks and increase your land speed by 10 feet.
Step Up (Combat feat): You can close the distance when a foe tries to move away. Prerequisites: Base attack bonus +1. Benefit: Whenever an adjacent foe attempts to take a guarded step away from you, you can also take a guarded step as a reaction as long as you end up adjacent to the foe that triggered this ability.

GEAR
Golemforged Plating - i. lvl: 1; price: 250; bulk: 3; EAC bonus: 2; KAC bonus: 5; maximum dex bonus: 0; armor check penalty: -3; speed adjustment: -10 ft; upgrade slots: 0; Fallis' prize from the gladiator circuit. This suit seems to have been derived from a stock golemforged model, with its close-fitting polycarbonate suit fitted with ports and armor plate sockets redesigned and reforged around her form. The deadlock collar, thankfully, had been gutted and removed, so no one could lay into it as an unfair advantage.
Utility Scattergun - i. lvl: 1; price: 235; bulk: 1; damage: 1d4 P; range: 15 ft cone; critical: -; capacity: 4 shells; usage: 1; special: analog, blast; A scattergun fires fragmentary shells in a spray from its barrel, dealing damage to all targets in range. She plans to reinstate this weapon's status as a plasma arm at some point.
Bastine Edge - i. lvl: 1; price: 375; bulk: 1; damage: 1d8 S; range: -; critical: -; capacity: -; usage: -; special: analog; A longsword is a straight, double-edged blade that typically protrudes from a haft. Once she can afford it, she intends to obtain a Frost fusion for this piece of work that echoes her very fangs.
Consumer Backpack i. lvl: 1; price: 3; bulk: 1; Backpacks have numerous pockets for storing items that you might need while adventuring and include industrial-strength straps for attaching additional items for easy access. Padded bands strap across the wearer's chest and waist to evenly distribute the backpack's weight, and it can carry roughly 2 bulk of items. When fitted properly and worn, the bulk of the backpack itself does not count against your bulk carried (though it does if you carry it in your hands), but the bulk of any items within it does. When wearing a properly fitted consumer backpack, you treat your Strength score as 1 higher for the purpose of determining your carrying capacity.
Personal Comm Unit i. lvl: 1; price: 7; bulk: L; A personal comm unit is pocket-sized device that combines a minor portable computer (treat as a tier-0 computer with no upgrades or modules) and a cellular communication device, allowing wireless communication with other comm units in both audio- and text-based formats at planetary range (see page 272). A personal comm unit also includes a calculator, a flashlight (increases the light level one step in a 15-foot cone), and several entertainment options (including games and access to any local infospheres). You can upgrade a personal comm unit to function as some other devices (such as full computers and scanners) by spending credits equal to 110% of the additional device's price.
Standard Battery(3) i. lvl: 1; price: 60; bulk: -; Batteries charge powered weapons, but they can also be used to power an array of items, including powered armor and technological items. Batteries have a standardized size and weight, and items that take batteries all have a slot into which they fit, regardless of the item's actual size. Weapons that use batteries list the highest-capacity battery they are capable of using as well as how many charges from the battery that each shot consumes.
Scattergun Shells(2) i. lvl: 1; price: 55; bulk: L; 25 per purchase. These cartridges are packed with small metal spheres that scatter when the cartridge explodes.
Field Ration(2) i. lvl: 1; price: 1/week; bulk: 1/week; A field ration is prepackaged food that can easily sustain you but lacks flavor and visual appeal. Field rations generally consist of chewy, brownish blocks of processed nutrients, which contain enough moisture to provide a day's worth of water intake. While it is possible to survive for weeks on nothing but field rations, it's not a pleasant experience.
