Illion Anikos
Dr. Illion Anikos (a.k.a. Tinker or Architect)
Illion is an expert shipbuilder and engineer. He specializes in space-based technology. His pet project is a solar flyer, it uses a Zero Point Generator powered small spacecraft with solar sails. He has a hidden base on the Moon where he does most of his work.
He can make almost anything work because of his psionic abilities, senses, and skills. When his friend and compatriot were exiled from the Moon to Avalon he had a setback, but they soon linked computers, and radios to fix that problem.
They helped Avalon Liberation Front ALF start their group to work on the Rebellion, build up supplies, and create or steal the technology to build ships so the Starfarer Diaspora could become a reality.
A hero to the Starfarers. Avalonian, Indigene, a villain to the Aetherian--Star Elves. Some call him "Sparky" or the "Architect." Even as a child, he was always building things, most worked as he was a prodigy and genius with everything having to do with science. He soon even went beyond what they could teach him. He was even smarter than the AIs, some thought he was linked to them, which he was.
Illion is an Aetherian throwback, now a Starfarer. He has some of their abilities, but can't get complete nutrition from absorbing the Cosmic Radiation, he can also only talk to machines---not other Aetherians. Some think he was a prototype created by the genetic AI to operate in space better.
He is famous for many inventions, he created and helped the Starfarers leave on the Diaspora. The unveiling of his stealth colony ships shocked the world, especially when he took most of the Indigenes and Starfarers with him. He sought out this or a similar event out of boredom, his pet projects barely kept his mind busy. It needed something difficult to do or he would go insane.
Illion was 120 when they left, soon after he built a little hover drone that is a liaison between him and others. He doesn't like many people, so let it talk for him. Shipbuilding is one of his passions, so he has at least four at all times. All of his ships are his own prototypes, even after they go into production they aren't the same as his. It has many upgrades to the ships that are based on it, such as---shutdown codes, weapons, shields, AIs, speed, etc.
His life partner is Myra Kydania, she created the first skinsuit, for him because of his nutrition requirements, and radiation weakness. It kept him alive for longer than the doctors thought he would live. She is alive and well they have 2 children Itwin girls) both are alive. The children know and are proud of him. He loves them all.
Illion is an expert shipbuilder, he's good at anything having to do with machines, computers, or electronics. He is good at everything he does if he chooses to learn it, he will excel at it. He's booksmart and streetsmart, is well-traveled, but also sends drones or agents to get info. Has no scars, short, silver hair, light-green eyes, thin because he doesn't like to eat, small and wiry, 4'6", 60 lbs.

Personal history
Illion and Sheven are twins that were born at different times because of gestational differences. He was born first, prematurely. Shevek Rulag, Ansible Inventor was born later. They have telepathy with each other but no one else. Both are geniuses, but Illian is more so at 300+, and Shevek is 200+ even though he developed longer. Telepathy doesn't seem to have a distance limit for them as they seem to be connected like an Ansible Communicator.
He has little need for sleep (2 hrs), and seems to learn even then, sometimes he doesn't sleep for days at a time. He often thinks that he was learning while in the artificial womb and was being programmed while growing, [the AI was doing it] giving him the info when he could understand it. What neither knew until they were older is that their brains are networked together by a new organ (biotech).
When someone looks at him their first impression is of a childsize man, or a child with progeria, that ages prematurely. He has always been small, but his brain is always developing, he uses most of his brain, more than more people do, or he just uses it more effectively.
These twins can also Daydream: 3-D whiteboard, and go into a state that looks like they are catatonic, but they are actually in a VR-like 3D environment, modeling ideas like on a whiteboard---they can even see each other's "avatars". In this way, they can cooperate on projects even when separated.
His brain developed much quicker than his body, never gaining an adult-sized body. He began talking at 2 months old, and blew past his creache mates in only two years (he hid how advanced he actually was). The teachers were worried about his social skills because he never wanted to play.
He was inseparable from his twin, but because of his size it looked more like he was a younger brother. They quickly built the ships they needed for the Diaspora, and they stayed on the Moon until all the supplies were collected. Together they developed new technology beyond what the Aetherians have developed.
