Goddess Freya's Forest Cats
The forest cats are the favorite animals of the Goddess Freya. Forest cats have a silvery-blue coat of fur and appear to be a larger version of a house cats. They are excellent tree/rock climbers, swimmers, and hunters, they are very fast and dextrous for their size. Freya loves her cats, not just these two, but all of them. They protect her and do her bidding, at need she can call them and they will become her army.

- Because of their connection to the earth, they cannot be picked up unless they wish it, even by a God.
- They are great mimics and often use odd loud noises to scare enemies away.
Growth Rate & Stages
Forest cats are slow to age, they don't become adults until they are 10 years old. Normally they only live for 20 years, but Freya can control their lifespan for as long as she wishes.
Ecology and Habitats
These enhanced forest cats normally live in temperate forests, but they will travel wherever Freya goes.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are obligate carnivores so need to eat their weight in meat every day. Their digestive system can't properly digest plant material.
Behaviour
Bygul and Trjegul are very loyal to Freya, they imprinted on her as soon as they saw her. To her they are friendly, loving, protective, and playful; but to those they don't trust, they can be fierce and territorial.

Facial characteristics
These cats have a triangular faces and strong chin. They have almond-shaped copper eyes.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Enhanced lowlight vision, scent, keen senses.
As a youth, she was given a pair of these cats by her brother, the God Thyr. They were her protectors and they pulled her chariot. Because of her Celestial characteristics, they absorbed some of her power. They grew larger, stronger, and gained some supernatural and spell-like abilities. These cats were named Bygul and Trjegul, they were called "gib cats" which means castrated. Some of the abilities that she gifted them with are:

- while pulling her chariot, they can run thru the air as if on solid ground

Forest cats are large-chested, with muscular thighs, round paws, and a long, bushy tail. can leap 20 ft up in the air, supreme speed, dodge attacks, with thick, strong claws excellent climbing trees and rocks.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Their hair is long, silky, and bushy with a thick mane around the neck and shoulders, have long tufted ears. Coloring varies from region to region. These cats are tabbies with a combination of silver and blue stripes. While others can be orange, white, or black, with spots, stripes, or patches. Eyes can be green, gold, copper, or yellow. Those with a lot of white in their coat often have Heterochromia with blue or any of these colors for each eye.
