History
'Raptor-Folk' and Kinfolk First Meeting
Relatively recently a research expedition of Kinfolk and a few other Beastfolk managed to get across the dangerous seas and reach Sauria. Scholars where eager to reach shore, and began begin to explore and record the new fauna and flora as soon as their rowboats hit the sand.
A scouting party of 'Raptor-Folk' came across them shortly after and watched them from the shadows of the jungle. Their elders had told them stories of scaleless folk finding their home long, long ago, razing the forests for resources, and slaughtering their people. Not wanting these stories to repeat themselves, the 'Raptor-Folk' scouting party ambushes some of the scholars.
In the abrupt chaos, the rest of the expedition rushed to the scholars aid. One of these individuals was a 'Large Lizard Folk', and their appearance confuses the 'Raptor-Folk'. This individual resembles them by being covered in scales, but lacks feathers and is protecting the scale-less intruders. As a result they temporarily retreat.
A few days later the 'raptor-folk' manage to capture the 'large lizard folk individual' and several of the scholars.
