Caerodale

"What are you looking for, my simple friend? It can be found here within these walls. Out there, out in that vast land they call Amerielle are found monsters, thieves, vagabonds, dangers aplenty. Why? Why, oh little one, would you wonder out there? We have much better version of all those things here." - Marion Dredwater

The city of Caerodale bustles and moves with the throngs of people who live in the capital city. Many of the denizens that live within the walls seldom leave content to stroll among the massive gardens, along the long coastline and docks, or between the city that seems both ancient and new.
Caerodale is the capital city of Amerielle and the largest city centre. The Emperor, Emperor Endyd II , rules from The Emperor's Hall
The city itself sprawls across the cliffside and is broken up into two main sections, Upper and Lower.
Upper is dominated by the wealthy and the ruling class. Even here they are broken up into neighborhoods that are generally walled, warded, and guarded by private militaries. There are four major neighborhoods, Beneks, Morti, Mul G'ash, and Saphire Tower.
Lower is closer to the docs and is more commonly part of the working class. This is also where the dark underworld lives. Two rival crime sydicates vie for power here Kate Leigh and Tillie Devine each violent and brutal in their own ways.
In addition to the grand buildings of the empire, a giant black obelisk floats above the city with no known purpose.
