10.0 - A Choice to Embrace Report

General Summary

Recently, the Grewl Bandits were chased away from their current camp, but the contingent of Enforcers managed to catch one of their younger recruits. While he didn't have much to offer, the information recorded here seems likely related to the group stirring up Servitor Kulden.

Viran carried Nora into camp, into his shelter. He sent us away, but let them in. I- I don't know what they were talking about, but Viran called me in. I had to squeeze past the centaur; I've never seen one before, they're frightening. Nora was there, in the basin, muttering, her skin... Viran sent me to fetch water and fill the basin. I don't know why. He knew as much as I did that it was too late. Nora... She... she was already gone.   It took me and Villy several runs with the buckets to fill the basin. Nora calmed, but... Of course she didn't get better. Viran was desperate. I'm sure he felt this was his fault. He took too long to find another Nature parr. He sent those strangers off to... to, uh, the vault around Blua River and the base of the Snuhens. He always suspected something was hidden away there, something about "pure" water1. He never took the chance to go himself, but gave them a key or something.   They left. And the camp stayed quiet. Viran didn't let anyone back into his shelter.

[1]I've sent a team to investigate this "vault". Below are the notes on their investigation of the exterior. I've instructed them to proceed with the interior. Notes to follow soon.
Before the entrance are many scattered stones, and the earth itself is uneven and ruptured. The entrance itself is set into the side of the mountain. Two large pillars stand on either side of a rather austere double door setup. Both the pillars and the doors are made of the same light blue and veiny stone (bevarl-stone, if I were to hazard a guess). Across the top of the door frame is a Script carving. The doors are open.
