Irynefer Chumani

With an Astorian mother and Hilealian father, Irynefer grew up with a strong connection to nature. Her mother taught her horticulture, filling her childhood with pulling weeds in the garden under the beating sun and watering the sprawling, green plants in the family greenhouse. Her childhood home sat on a hill overlooking the ocean close below, where her father would sit with her, singing about the ocean as the moon rose from its depths. Both taught her some of the ways of their home cultures, but never actually brought her to where they grew up, allowing her to explore both and create her own narrative. Irynefer herself is an old soul, soft spoken and preferring her time alone. She tends to sometimes push new people away, fearing that they would mess with the established order of her life that she has created. However, once one gets to know her, they would find that she is loyal, kind, open minded, passionate, and lively. Currently at the age of 20, she has dived deeper into her love for flora kindred by her mother. She spends most of her time in her own greenhouse that she started a few months ago, expanding the types of plants she grows, making a business selling plants to fellow horticulturists, and experimenting with magic. Only recently has she become more involved with magic. Sure she grew up with her parents using magic often, but she has never really done anything herself. Therefore, she has found herself going down into the bustling streets of the town more. Although the loud crowds of the markets and squares make her uneasy, her curiosity, intrigue, and love of learning overshadows that. Each day she gathers more intel and yellowed, dusty books to read, hoping that one day she could use magic symbiotically with her gardening. Outside of gardening, her life is equally peaceful. In the mornings and evenings she likes to walk along the beach, her feet pulling through the waves kissing the sand. In her free time, she also likes to play her guitar, sing, bake, and read on her windowsill. Irynefer is content with her tranquil life, however, she has always dreamed of traveling somewhere new. She grew up in her own bubble created by her parents, and is grateful for that, but yearns to see and know more, especially about her two cultures, Astorian and Hileal. Someday she is thinking of talking to her parents about it.
