Zonta Chankoowashtay

Zonta Chankoowashtay is an Apawichakya farmer living far North in the Waziya lands outside of the capital. She is working class and has been her whole life, as she is the daughter of farmers who were also the children of farmers. She is now the current owner of the family farm because her mother recently retired, due to age, to days of simple housework and sitting inside in a cozy blanket while Zonta and her siblings run the farm. She deserves it, however, because she is the hardest worker Zonta has ever known. She has two brothers and four sisters, all with unruly brunette hair like hers. They are the biggest group of siblings in her family lineage that she knows of. Her father commutes about 30 minutes to the capital to work for a publishing company, leaving a little after they get started on morning tasks and returning home by sundown.   At 27 years old, Zonta Chankoowashtay feels as though she has seen so little. The farm requires a lot of attention and work and, as the oldest of the seven children, a lot of responsibilities fall to her. She’s always been a social butterfly and learned quickly that the small town they live outside of only has so many people to talk to. Her father took her with him years ago to his job in the city which gave her a taste of the life she was missing out on. There were people everywhere and so many things to do. Zonta loves her life now, but would it kill to try something else for a little while? What holds her back is the expectations she holds to herself to help the family and run the farm. She knows that she is giving and loyal almost to a fault, as she often disregards her own needs, dreams, and wants for that of her family. As long as her family still needs her, she tries to push away her thoughts of exploring the world and instead sticks to the task at hand.
