Ironhold
One of the signatories of the Emberwood Accord. Ironhold is a large independent town populated largely by Orcs.
Demographics
The town is largely populated by Orcs. There are 11 clans that comprise the town. There are other races present here such as Human and surprisingly Drow
Government
Ironhold is ruled by a High Chief who has authority over all of the clans. The title of High Chief is held by a member of one of the 11 clans. A member of a different clan may challenge the High Chief with their clan chief's permission. The current High Chief and the challenger then fight to the death in unarmed combat. Each of the 11 clans have their own chief that handles the smaller issues. The High Chief often becomes the chief for their clan as well as chief of chiefs.
Defences
The town is surrounded by a wooden palisade reinforced with stone and Dark Iron.
Industry & Trade
Each of the 11 clans handles a different aspect of the town's economy.
Architecture
A large part of the town is built using the ruins of a city once known as Cloudhelm. After the Orc clans moved in they began to utilize stone, wood and Dark Iron.
Natural Resources
Ironhold is surrounded by massive deposits of a rare metal known as Dark Iron. This metal is their only noteworthy resources
