Complexity

A hugely complex and obscure amount of knowledge is required to create the spells needed to be woven to empower the Forge and the Galvanic Crystals that fuel it. However, once created, only a relatively small amount of arcane knowledge is required to keep the Forge running. As well as the arcane side, the mechanical processes needed to create it requires knowledge known only to the finest of Dwarf ironsmiths.

Discovery

Created, based on theoretical notes from Fandantulus by the wizard Tallakar, the work was stolen and spread throughout the kingdoms shortly before the Last War
