Campaign 4, Session 6

The group returns to the Spire, delving into the 1st level below the surface.

The group went into the spire grounds again, finding the stairs that led down and dealing with some straggler goblins there. In the floor below, thankfully there was no more magical darkness, the rooms and hallways lit dimly with random patches of harmless, glowing moss. The group had difficulty as they had to fight Moon Spiders, a specific type of magical spider creature that had the power to both create obscuring mist, and transform into gas, as well as poisoned fangs. These creatures would lay in wait under what seemed to be specifically built trapdoors for them, the spiders were able to reactivate the trap doors and web them closed, allowing them to dine on any prey that fell through. The bottom of the pit had spikes as well, making them even more dangerous. Eventually it was decided in battle with one of these spiders to get Clanky, who was busy putting goblin heads on pikes as a deterrent to other visitors, and he was able to help them escape the pits and slay the spiders.   Treasure gained
