The position of the Great Warchief is always claimed by an Orc or orc-kin. It can not be inherited or gifted to another orc, however, different orcs can compete with each other over the position. The origin of the Great Warchief does not depend on any tribe or location. The role of the Great Warchief can be used in negotiations between different tribes. If the Great Warchief is killed by an orc, this orc automatically claims the position of the Great Warchief if the death occurred during a duel. If the Great Warchief dies during a battle, the leader of the Warchief's tribe is allowed to decide on his successor.
