Plashkyn

the Northern Kingdom

Plashkyn is a Dwarf vice kingdom under the Kephic Empire, ruled by Clan Ironwall, who have ruled the nation since its founding in the Lakorthian Age. The kingdom sits in the valley where Whidel's Wall pushes up against the greater Plashin Range of Novyum, on the major continent of Ethae. The kingdom controls a small region of the southern mountains, measuring only around forty miles east to west, and about twenty miles north to south at its widest. They do, however, have vast networks of tunnels carved in the mountains below their lands, many extending far beyond their surface borders. The longest tunnels reach as far as Oate Mountain to their west.

Plashkyn is a peaceful nation, knowing a century of harmony, while the Novyum Civil War rages around them. This is due to several factors. The first being the geography of their lands. Plashkyn sits in the high mountains of the Plashins. Their valleys largely only reachable through passing coming out of Axia Valley to the south. The Dwarves of Plash have also cultivated a strong relationship with their neighbors, creating a buffer of nations around their small homeland for protection. Unlike other dwarven holds, Plashkyn has been welcoming to Human entering their lands. The nations even have a sizable population of Axa dwelling in the village at their capital, Ironwall Castle.
