Sea of Fate

The Sea of Fate is considered the most dangerous of Aiaos' oceans. Its powerful currents and incredible depth make it feared by seafarers and also the Seafolk, for many of its trenches border on the Abyss and are home to its champions, the Merrow.   The Sea's currents flow to the Cataract, where the water plunges over the vast cliff which separates the World from the Elemental Plane of Air. Beyond the Cataract, the pale wall of the Mists rises up, strange and otherworldly. Right before the Cataract, the remaining manors of Eurosia anchor a trawl-net used to scavenge materials for the floating city.   In the north, the Dawn Coast of Refuge is defended against Eurosian raiders by a flotilla of small ships, armed with outsized artillery. Further south, the remains of Caragal form deadly shoals, through which an artificial passage - the Eurosian Channel - has been cut allow raiding parties from the floating city to reach the shores of the Donar Wastes.   South of the Wastes, the Warriors' Coast of Kyuzh-magh are patrolled by battle barges and aquatic Hobgoblins. The deeper waters, however, belong to the Sea Kingdom of Blackrock, whose fleet is the first line of defence and the principle rival of the massive galleons of Eurosia.
