Relicts of the Colossi

The marks of the Colossus War are found across Aiaos, from downed sky cities and nautiloids to fragments of arcane technology. The few hardy and misguided souls who study the Colossi and the Outerfolk categorise these relicts into four sets: Exomaterials, Exo-Biologicals, Exofacts and Eldritch Mechanisms.
Exomaterials are either fragments of items or raw, unworked substances with no function beyond their material properties, although those are often extraordinary. The category can do be subdivided into xenomaterials (e.g. Voidspar), which originate beyond the Voidskin, and paramaterials, which are created within the World as a resuly of Colossal influence (e.g. Void Bile, Bleakstone.)
Exobiologicals are the products of Outerfolk or Colossal biological processes, including Foul Ichor - spilled blood of the Colossi - as well as ilithid Vile Amber and Nacre, Psychonite and Dreamstone.
Exofacts are objects made by the Colossi or Outfolk, either partially or sigificantly composed of outer materials or exo-biologicals. The uses to which Aiaosians put these items are often quite different from their original purpose. Items in the group are always simple, with no moving parts.
If an item has complex moving parts or arcane functions, it is classed as an Eldritch Mechanism. These devices are invariably deleterious to the world, and especially to anyone who carries one of them, but they possess powerful functions.
In addition to these base types, there are a vanshingly small number of Colossal Relics. These terrible items were once treasured possessions of the Colossi themselves and are mostly weapons, as those were what they carried when they moved on the face of Aiaos, and strove and fell in battle against the Titans.
