Bank of Abadar

The Bank of Abadar is one of the dominant religions in Nicaea, most popular among Dwarves. The rise of the Nicaean Empire has brought more disparate cities under the same banner, which has allowed the faithful of the god of trade to rise in power as well.

Structure

The highest members of the clergy are known as Bankers, with the Archbanker of Zenris at the top (a position currently held by Grylior Goldbeard). Soldiers are known as Justicars, with the First Justicar at the top (currently Raad Flintthorn).

Tenets of Faith

The followers of Abadar are meant to bring civilization and trade to the wilds outside of the cities, as well as maintain order within them. They are often tax collectors, guards, and (in some civil cases) judges.
