Ytean Orcs

Ytean orcs1 form one of the main branches of orcish culture, whose tribes rule western and central Ytis in northeastern Adynía between the river Hahan to the west, beyond which is the territory of Úrúnans who form the other main orcish branch, on one hand, and the river Jál to the east, beyond which the mostly human Yteans live.
The lattermost peoples were the first to settle Ytis, and later on were gradually either pushed westwards as the ytean orcs' ancestors migrated to the region from Úrún or assimilated in some ways to the latter. Members of the tribes in central Ytis, Narkrans and Kúnans in particular, are of mostly mixed ancestry.
Prior to the orcish conquest of Góalanis across Central Sea to the south, certain ytean orcish tribes traded with Góalanics and, similarly to úrúnans, their warriors often worked as mercenaries in Góalanis to prove themselves in battle and bring riches back home. After the conquest, their relationship with the Góalanic Orcs varies from one tribe to another, ranging from occasional trade and tributes to outright hostility and frequent pirate raids.
Currently, the most powerful tribes are Akans, Kergans and Várans in westernmost Ytis, who form the Vyrrokó Alliance which controls Jalkúr, the largest settlement of the ytean orcs.
