Gakalog1 is one of the nine tribes (og) of Góalanic Orcs who rule the Góalanic Federation in eastern Adynía. Their territory covers much of the wooded hinterland of Góalanis with the city of Nanarr at its heart, the old capital of the federation, and shares borders with all the other territories.
The Gakalog tribe has long been among the most esteemed among the góalanic orcs, as it was in their territory where many of the customs and traditions which form the core of góalanic orcish identity emerged. It's also the most conservative tribe in many ways, and as such the cultural differences between góalanic orcs and native Góalanics is far more distinct there than elsewhere in Góalanis.
