Mount Koude

In older times, Mount Koude was a regular volcano. It had erupted a couple times in history but all of it's eruptions were minor. Though a pack of White Dragons had went to inhabit the lands, and they had scourged the heat and lava with frost and ice. They had shaped the volcano to best fit their nest. It had erupted once more but with cold air and an arcane source of ash. It had plagued the Southern Islands of South West Aitso. The lands were in a desolate state, with the only survivors of Elfar being the original set of Royalty in the island. It had taken their combined efforts with the likes of The Royal Family, Sol and his divine followers to send in a drought to combat the ice. In the end it worked, and all that left was 1 of the White Dragons, who laid a final egg before her demise in the heart of Mount Koude.
Mount Koude is said to have one of the only stable connections to the Catacombs. The cave systems made by the White Dragons being intertwined in common patterns with the Catacombs. It is said to be the only entrance to Mount Koude. The Crater is a common way for adventurers to try and descend Mount Koude, but the cold gases either asphyxiate or freeze over those people. The Secondary Vent is also blocked off by heavy slabs of ice. It is extremely hard to navigate through, and even if one manages to gain access this way, a large, fatal drop is issued towards them. An extra temple has been constructed in the name of Sol to keep others from venturing further. Deeper within though, cultists and maniacal followers of the Archdevil Strezgaz had constructed a dark Obelisk. This Obelisk was given infernal lettering all across it's metallic exterior. Once uttered by exactly 12 apostles of the Devil, he would be summoned in whoever's physical form is placed underneath the Obelisk. This person must be unwilling, or else the corruption of Strezgaz will be considered fruitless and in vain.
The Obelisk itself is surrounded by a dark fortress. This fortress is littered with most undead creatures, a blessing from Strezgaz' father, Azazel. It was mostly enlisted by skeletal guards, with the bodies of old Elfar soldiers being it's prime selection of soldiers. Still encased in their ancient armour, and magical weapons. As fodder, they prove themselves the ability to match with powerful soldiers from all around Aitso. These militiamen were numbered in the hundreds, yet many were used as arcana-based sacrifice for Strezgaz and his goals. Past the High Wall was a courtyard, where both the Obelisk and the Beast Pens were held. Inside of the Beast Pens were decaying foes often found by adventurers, including an Owlbear, a Minotaur, and a Mystical, yet still undead, Legendary Kitsune of Old Tortvain.

True Ruler

Braiderouth, Scourge of the Ice is the true ruler of Mount Koude. It is an Adult White Dragon who stays in a dormant state. Braiderouth is the only surviving White Dragon of the Elfar Dragons, and is so large that it cannot leave it's own crater. It is able to survive only with cold air. However, her death came soon after due to Strezgaz, who had harvested her life force to create his obelisk. Her skeletal remains still linger on a thick sheet of ice above the Obelisk. Braiderouth's spirit was embedded within the Obelisk, until it was destroyed when Strezgaz was banished from Rowd's body, and pummelled through it's obsidian insides. Both Rowd and Braiderouth's spirits were freed from this action. Both of their physical forms were laid to rest there as well, Rowd given a proper burial in one of the patches of dirt, and Braiderouth's body being dug into the ice, keeping Mount Koude from ever erupting again.
