Mandias, Dean of the Citadel

Mandias is the true ruler of Ixiamant, School of Sorcery. He was banished from the grounds however, cursed to rule from a distance. He resides in a demiplane, with it's only connection to the world being through the lake of the underground Citadel, known as Old Tortvain. Mandias is one of the many children to the Spider Titan. Mandias' work was seen as barbaric, torturous and morally wrong. Many went against his teachings, said to be using civilians as lab rats.
After his banishment, Mandias was replaced by a figurehead, known as Bishop Oldir, who watched over the lake where he was imprisoned for 50 years. Although, his hidden strings of spells and followers still had control over the Citadel. Mandias' most loyal followers built themselves into deformed spiders, in his malformed vision. He took them in, like children, to live inside of his plane of an empty lake.
Mandias also held the power to alter the bridge that connects to the Tribune's Fortress. His powers range to making the bridge crumble into small pillars, or reforming it. He used this to destroy an army, bent on killing the Spider Titan Descendant. However, his effects on this bridge are reverted back to it's original state if Mandias is killed.

However, that day soon came, when Mandias was slain by a trio of adventurers. In order to cross the bridge to Tribune Saegar's fortress, these three had journeyed through the forests before, and found the college where this dastardly being resides. Upon Bishop Oldir's deathbed, he pointed to the lake, uttering that they must slay the titan's child. Upon the start of the battle, these three powerful travellers had taken on the 'children' of Mandias, making quick work of them. They moved onto the Titanborn next, and with a long battle, their Goliath Barbarian, Grog Veil'Thro had been felled, brought to unconsciousness.
However, Grog would not give up, awakening from his slumber with a new sense of rage, leaping into battle to split Mandias' head in two, killing the Spider Titan's child with one strike. Upon the death of Mandias, the bridge leading to the Tribune's Fortress was lifted, and the trio had continued on their journey, not realising what would come into effect with Mandias slaughtered.
