Leon Trotsky is a Soviet Politician, Theorist and Minister of War of The Soviet Union, he leads a faction called The "Trotskyist's" within Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Life and Revolution:
Leon was born in 7 November 1879, to a wealth Jewish Family, and by his university years in he was involved with revolutionary movement's and joined the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party later Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1898. At first a Narodnik, Trotsky was actually later an independent and was critical of Lenin's centralization plan of the party. Throughout this time was arrested and exiled many times for his activities, leading him to be in Britain by 1907. However, he eventually joined the Bolsheviks by the time of The Russian Revolution in 1917 and was a proponent of his Permanent revolution theory or "Troskyism".
Ministry of War and Conflict With Lenin:
Vladimir Lenin appointed Trotsky Minister of War, a position he still holds today. Trotsky was instrumental in The Soviet Union's early victory in the civil war, being able to stop The Ice March, negotiated a settlement with the Czech Legion and the proceeding Soviet-Polish War. Trotsky, proposed to create a Polish puppet state to later integrate into The Soviet Union that lead to the establishment of The Polish Socialist Republic in July 1919.
Troskty and ally Taushev Aleskeevich tried to push Lenin to march through Czechoslovakia to save The Hungarian Soviet Republic that was engaged in all fronts however was refused as 'reckless' citing concerns of the fragile soviet economy. Instead, Lenin sided with an indirect approach, sending the Republic aid instead of a direct innervation and ordered the smuggling of arms into Czechoslovakia to start a communist uprising so that they wouldn't have to invade to save the country.
Leon, criticized the decision as 'dangerous' and even 'cowardice' that will only embolden opposition to Communism in Europe. Their relationship further became strained after Lenin agreed to let Bulgaria invade and subjugate Romania to relive pressure off The Hungarian Soviet Republic in exchange for Soviets gaining back the territory of Moldova. Trotsky, was deeply angered by the deal and questioned whether Lenin was willing to betray Marxist principles for appeasing Bulgaria's imperialist ambitions.
During the German Civil War, Leon called on The Soviet Government to take military action to secure The German Soviet Republic's victory in their stalemate with The German Empire. However, seeing Lenin trying to dismay The German Soviet Republic to be more defensive after west sent a telegram declaring if The German Soviet Republic won, Europe would unite and declare war, he saw this as proof of his 'crowdice'.
After a ceasefire was declared in February 1922 between the two Germany's, therefore becoming divided. Trotsky blamed Lenin, stating that his concern's stopped The GSR from pushing harder to crush the restored The German Empire.
By 1923, the relationship between him and Lenin has reached a boiling point, it is no doubt if he takes over the Union there will be trumpets of war and no hesitation to do so.
