Vibrant and always amazed at the wonders of nature, humanity, and the universe, Al'lysana works the caravan route from Grennig to Wargun with her husband Darhiek'hyime. The more adventurous of the two, she keeps their caravans from getting lost on-route and leads almost all of their negotiations. Just don't confuse her with Andrea Roen'shai.

Yes, Al'ysana knows Andrea Roen'shai and no they are not sisters. They are not even related - at least not anymore than any other Moeynshien Family and Roen'shai Family are related. And she wasn't even born a Moeynshiem. She married into the family. Yes, they sort of look alike, if you are only looking at hair and eyes and the fact that both of them have pointed ears. But Andrea is quite a bit shorter than Al'lysana, she'll have you know. Its been that way ever since they were in school together back in Gastwyme. But its been winters since thier paths have crossed, though she always keeps an eye out for her old friend when she's in the Principality. They do so enjoy Belkin's food and she's pretty sure its Andrea's turn to buy.

 

One might think that Al'ly, as her husband Darhiek often calls her, would do something to change her appearance. But she is her own woman and, comparisons to the Roen'shai silk trader aside, quite a successful one. She would not trade her life in the wilds of the Narmouth Desert and Malpighien Steppes for anything. Each day brings new adventure on her journeys. One only needs to look to see how each desert rock and grassy hill is unique. And the creatures she meets! Their arrival in town brings just as much excitement as they travel through Human lands. It always amazes her how much humans change summer to summer and then in a blink the entire town has changed over to a new generation. If only she could channel the energy that humans have; sitting by a tavern fire listening to their stories and songs is almost as much fun as being on the road.
