87. Don't Get Your Legs Broken Report
General Summary

- Lozaal Daashor spends the next few hours in the nightclubs of Downstairs.
- Warden spends the night in a tree in the woods, and encounters a giant ape. He recalls that they are fiercely territorial (and have a very strong bite force), so he avoids getting it's attention.
- Dax' Athla and Kalshana spend the night at the Clifftop Adventurer's Guild.
18th Sypheros, 999 YK
- In the morning, Dax and Kal have breakfast whilst Lozaal sells the swords he took from the Swords of Liberty headquarters. Warden was left alone in the woods all night.
- Warden recruits a local bird to deliver a message for him, "Still here where I was spotted, Giant ape roaming about, Please Hurry."
- The bird delivers the message as the others are heading out, and they fly out to the woods to meet Warden, as far as they can. They walk the rest of the way.
- Lozaal examines the sword. It's a slightly different design to the swords he knows from Dhakaan, possibly a natural evolution of the design? It features design changes that seem to make it more suitable for stronger creatures, like ogres, the handle is longer and the blade heavier, with a smaller guard. He determines the core of the weapon is Adamantine, with a Byeshk coating the blade, which as far as he knows means it must be of Dhakaani make. He finds a maker's mark, similar to a Dhakaani mask, but the teeth are more exagerated which makes it look like the face of an Oni.
- This raises questions for Lozaal that he needs answering. He needs to sleep to speak with Senen Dhakaan, but she won't be asleep now. Kalshana uses Sending to contact her, which is transcribed below. She will contact Lozaal in an hour's time.
- Warden expresses wanting to go into Sharn to get some cosmetic work done, he wants a new jaw (with tusks!) to emulate the orcs that trained him.
- Kal also wants to see her friends in Overlook (and maybe Lakashtai).
- There is a small discussion about boundaries and the ethics of stealing the sword, which everyone seems to be fine with (including Kalshana, who justifies it by saying she wasn't directly involved in the theft).
- Dax warns Kalshana to be careful if she goes back into the city, as she was recognised by Yadha-Ro, who is a known member of Daask.
- Before anybody leaves, Lozaal expresses that he owes them a debt on his honour, a significant statement for an Heir of Dhakaan to make.
- Kalshana and Warden go back into the city. Kal goes up to Hareth's Folly to look for Lakashtai. Lakashtai doesn't seem to be around right now, so Kal sits and people watches for a bit.
- Warden heads down to The Cogs to visit the Red Hammer. He decides to try one of their drinks! He spends some time deliberating on what flavour to try, there's so many choices! They don't seem to have banana though. He settles for chocolate.
- He puts one of the smell masks on and experiences scent for the first time in his life, and then tries the chocolate milk and it tastes! What a day for Warden.
- Once she's free, Warden sees Crucible, who replaces his jaw as requested. It takes a couple hours.
- Kalshana tries to contact Lakashtai using Sending, but she doesn't reply.
- Whilst waiting for Kal, Warden notices Indigo staring at him, and goes to talk to her.
- Indigo explains more of her ideology, how she views Warforged in relation to the "fleshborn" and the issue of their reproductive freedom.
- Kal meets back up with Warden at the Red Hammer, and Indigo stops talking.
- Lozaal goes to sleep in the woods, and dreams in the Uul Dhakaan, where he speaks with Senen.
- Senen is interested in this sword and wants it sent to Volaar Draal to be examined. Lozaal suggests leaving it at Avrahk Mbar'ost for someone to pick up. She also suggests that Lozaal look out for any evidence of the Kech Nasaar whilst he's in Droaam, she believes that Nasaar Draal is there somewhere.
- Whilst Kal and Warden are walking back to the woods, Lakashtai mind links with Kal and explains that she was in a bar fight. She can't hang out today but she can later if Kal wants! This causes Kal not to listen to Warden talking about his existential crisis, which upsets him. They then talk about it, and Warden explains how he's feeling about the future of the warforged. Kalshana agrees that they should be able to reproduce.
- Warden and Kal return to the others in silence, which makes Lozaal think something is threatening them and he hides with his weapon ready
- Dax points out Warden's new teeth! and he talks about him talking to Indigo. The issue of warforged is complicated, and whilst the Lord of Blades has good points, their methods are questionable.
- Lozaal points out that the upcoming summit is an opportunity for Warden to try and change opinions about warforged, to show a side to them that isn't the Lord of Blades. In fact, all of them are potentially representatives of their respective peoples.
- They discuss options for getting the sword back to Avrahk Mbar'ost. They could send Zedd with the sword, which would take her 12 days. It's also possible they could get Kyn to take it, but they'd need to bribe him with something.
- Kal used Sending to contact Kyn, and he appears in front of her. They bribe him with banana rum to take the sword back to the fort, and he takes a whole keg of it. Kalshana then contacts Terfel Glas to ensure the sword made it to the fort. It did! Huzzah!

Kalshana: Kyn! Lozaal has some special banana rum for you that he wants to give you in exchange for taking a sword back home. Kal x
Kalshana: Terfel, quick question! Does Kyn have a big sword with him? If yes: put in lock room. It not, let us know when Kal Terfel: Is something wrong? Kyn just appeared yelling about the size of his sword. It is really quite big, putting it away. Terfel x. Kalshana: Last spell slot - thank you! It's Lozaal's.
