The Cogs
Located deep beneath the towers of Sharn, below even some of the ruins, lie The Cogs. The Cogs are located within a manifest zone to Fernia, and because of this it is the industrial heart of the city. The borders between the districts in the Cogs are not as clearly defined as they are in the city above, and so it is considered it's own district.
Very few people actually live in the Cogs, most of the people that work there will reside in the Lower City. Khyber's Gate is the only region within the Cogs that actually has any homes in it, the rest of the district is entirely focussed on industry. The Cogs also has no Sharn Watch presence whatsoever, which has allowed gangs to run rampant, forcing the forges and foundries to hire their own security or pay one of the gangs for protection money.
