Pets RPGs PC&039;s PF2E

I'm using world anvil for my campaign and some of my players have pets/familiars and the like, and the current way to do this that i have found is for me to make a statblock then hand over ownership. But if it could be a subcategory of their PC, that would be even better as a pet or familiar is inherently linked to their character and they are the ones that need to keep track of thier abilities as they change and grow and whatnot.

Hello everyone! So! First of all, I would start by saying I love pets and familiars - I got 3 cats and a wife which is actually a dinosaur Having said that, the above request is a bit of an odd one to answer, let me explain why

On World Anvil each RPG system has its own character sheet.

This is because each system has its own, well, system and sheet. That means that the existence of a pet/familiar is entirely dependent on the system one uses. (DnD 3, 3.5, 4,5 Pathfinder 1,2 do, others - do not)

These sheets for most games are created and/or are maintained by the community

In order to even ask for which sheet you want this to happen I need to know for which system you want this to happen (no we cannot do it for "ALL THE RPGS!!!")

So, please, if you wish to add a new tab on your sheet for your familiars, come to Discord at the #development-discussion channel and let me know which that is

Alternative Solutions

An alternative solution would be to add the ability to a character profile to have additional sheets, but this will need to be a generic usecase (I cannot call it familar/pet because others might need it for weapons, armour, spaceships, spells etc. BUT in both cases I cannot action the above AS IS. I will have to decline it not because I do not want to do it but because I cannot action it as it is This will be moved in the "In Progress" pile while I consider and possibly implement the "Additional sheets" section and then to declined or completed but if you want pets on the game you are using message me on DIscord or it will not happen.

As a GM of a player who has both a pet and is a necromancer with a bunch of zombies, I'd love to have an easier way to have them deal with all their "pets"

Each RPG game has its own statblocks, which game are you referring to? For dnd / pathfinder WA already has monster statblocks - use those.

Yes!! All of my players have pets. one has two. I have thought of making them just npc but it just doesn't work and a blank article is a lot of work.
