parent child traditions/rituals tradition

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I want to create parent/child traditions for the "tradition/ritual" template.   I really like how the "Technology/Science" template has a "parent technology". For instance I have an article called "alchemy" which is a parent technology for "Alchemical Food Preservation", "alchemical poison detection", and "alchemist's fire".   Likewise I used "parent" option on the "Conditions" to showcase variants of my article "Cannibal Sickness" (ogres for humans, wendigo for orcs, etc).   Traditions beget traditions. So I would like have take my article on "Scarterran Theatre" and use that as a parent tradition to varies specific genres of theater in my world. I only have one so far Jelly Spear Plays, but I have ambitions to write many more such articles.   I'm thinking of making an article on sacrifices to the gods. Hypothetically, this tradition could be a parent article to various articles on sacrifices to specific gods.   I think it would be good to have the option for multiple parent traditions. For instance the tradition "wedding cakes" could have "wedding celebrations" and "birthday cakes' as parent traditions as a lot of new traditions are the result of multiple aspects of previous traditions.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

This feature could let readers follow a chain articles up or down to see evolving or changing traditions.

What are other uses for this feature request?

It allows for grouping by type and lets readers navigate the site slightly easier.   Most readers seem to prefer several small articles over a small number of giant articles such as theatre articles that breaks 8 or 9 different genres of theater, but my love of broad categories would mean the smaller articles are still clearly linked.   Hypothetically if someone stumbles across one genre of theater and liked it, they could use the sidebar to the broad theater article.
