What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently, everything from minutes to epochs is available as default units of time in chronicles, except for weeks and months. For some worlds including one of mine (Where the entire history is spanned in less than 30 years) this makes all options of granularity either too small or too big.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Adding months to the default unit of time options will allow chronicles that span small amounts of years to display properly, instead of having all of the entries cramped in a few pixels with lots of empty space on both sides. Adding weeks would also be useful, but I am not sure this is a span of time that can be configured in chronicles.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Months could be a useful span of time for chronicles of wars, expeditions, scientific investigations, short governments, and any other sort of story that spans just a couple of years.

Some of the suggested user cases for chronicles (characters lives, conflicts) will be managed much better with the option of months and weeks as u it's of time.
