Its just a small feature update that I can't find or seems to exist. Essentially in the Time and date tab, there only exists a way to create a BCE and CE for your eras in determining births. This is great for worlds that only have two great eras much like our world with BC and AD. However, fictional worlds may have 3 or 4 eras, maybe even more.
As such I propose an update to a feature that exists, where you can add an era (like you can in a timeline) but to the world data itself. That way if you have a character born in the era before the era before the common era, it won't say "10147 BCE" when your BCE was only 10,000 years long.
I hope that makes sense.
The Team's Response
The World Configuration > Eras section is meant to be a shorthand for 90% of the worlds not a way to record advanced time like timelines separated into Eras.
This is the reason Timelines Exist.
Chronicles will also be able to handle Eras in the [urlLhttps://blog.worldanvil.com/2022/06/24/chronicles-roadmap-see-whats-coming-next/]future read more here
Having said that there are good points on this, and a simplified version of Eras should be implemented to allow the SIMPLE segmentation of time into Eras with their own abbreviations.
