highlight summer-camp worldember
Those who write entries for Summer Camp or Worldember have a LOT of articles. And some of those articles are better than others. Would it be possible to allow authors to add a 'highlight' to a set number of articles on their competition page to highlight the ones they are most proud of?
For example, for each set number of summer camp articles they complete, say, 8, they can have one article 'highlighted' on their competition page. It doesn't mean the page is a Featured Article or anything fancy, just a way to draw attention to the articles the Author is most proud of when it comes to Summer Camp or even World Ember. It could just be a simple 'sheen' on the article or a ribbon on the corners.
This would allow Authors to feature the works they are most proud of on their competition page, especially right after summer camp ends and everyone's gearing up for the Reading Challenge. It would also help 'narrow the field' a bit, especially for readers who can get easily overwhelmed by the sheer number of articles. If someone has 27 articles, knowing their top 4 would help make the stack a bit more palatable to digest, even if I choose to read #5 on the list.
The Team's Response
The idea is good but it has very little support to be put in the queue as it is.
