Costume Challenge 2020 READS #3

Some articles are good and well structured, some are barely seen. This time around I want to share the three that deserve more attention.
  1. Zehnler by Vertixico - clothes for special occassions for wealthy made in a fashion to mock the poor workers. The idea is described in a vibrant detail. Sadly, there are no graphics. Still... Very underrated, imo.

  2. Makwani dress by Evanarix - worn by the nabasti during gestation to ease the period of potentially painful shedding. Lovely flair - the tradition and the background are the same for highborn and lowborn. The material changes, though.

  3. Battle Spear Uniform by Michael Chandra - special suit for special conditions. The uniform was designed to be worn by the bodyguards to handle potential hazards they face during [space] explorations.

Costume challenge 2020 reads #2

#WACostumeChallenge is still on and more articles are their to inspire.
  1. Noblewear; carefully and with no rush broken down with respect to classes and gender. While many motifs used by Barbarossa are easily recognizable, the read is still a pleasure.

  2. The invincible flanel shirts and ripped jeans - the armor of apathy. The idea is kept simple and hilarious. A good laugh guaranteed, especially if you used to wear at least 1 out of 2 items. ;)

Costume Challenge 2020 reads #1

Some recent works submitted to the #WACostumeChallenge.
  1. Aztec/Mayan inspired world. This article is brilliant in its simplicity and construction: nicely divided and presented, with a graphic or two to lighten in up. A bit of a downside from readers perspective would be the abundance of foreign terms, which was overwhelming for me.

  2. Neat graphical abstract in the beginning of the article. A cool addition of public perception and... "conspiracy theories". :D

That would all for the day. Hopefully I'll write an entry each day until the end of the "Sharing Period".
