Demographics

There is a very nice mix of all kinds of people. In all shapes, sizes and of all color. Which is a unique, not that it is a strange thing inside the kingdom. Everybody is welcome and everyone has a place to stay, but this is not the same for other kingdoms.   There is also a large variation in wealth inside the city, there have being attempts to solve the massive gaps, only this more often then not resulted into nothing.

Government

The city like all of Cidor is being ruled by the Court of Cidor with its head the Queen. There are small organizations inside the city better known as The Neighbourhood council. Every district has one and there are 19 districts.

Infrastructure

There was a lot of going on inside a big city like this. Watermills and windmills, sewers, courtyards, blast furnaces, roads, bridges. Farmers of all forms and sizes, that grows food and let the animals.   There are four temples.   The Temple of Tranquility inside the Tranquility District   The Temple of the Stars inside the Tranquility District   The Temple of the Sun inside the Moon District   The Temple of the Moon inside Moon Dale   There is a large graveyard, that borders the districts Dunstead, Ashtun, Palisad. The temples were currently not being used as a place of worship. They are just reminders of the religion of long ago.

Districts

Wealthy Districts

Wealthy are the nobles and high ranking officers who have a resident inside the city.

Tranquility District

Overall, is an aristocratic lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:  
  • Residential
  • Leisure
  • Governance
This district is the district were all the nobles and their families live. It is also the best kept part of the city, the whole area is under the shadow of the palace.
 

Comfortable Districts

The comfortable class are most of the time the shop and fabric owners. They are not super rich, like the nobles, because they still need to go to work. But they do not need to live pay check to pay check. Which comes in every week.  

Burghton

Overall, is a comfortable lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
  • Residential
  • Ceramic industry
The district was first named Burgher's Town, but over time people have started calling it Burghton. It is one of the comfortable places just outside the wall. Most of the people who live inside this district are working in the Ceramic industry, one way or another.
 

Moon District

Overall, is a comfortable lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
  • Leather industry
  • Construction industry
  • Textile industry
  • Raw food industry
  • Residential
The Moon district is inside the wall and supports those who live there with jobs in the various industries. These are smaller factories, but still large enough to employ almost everybody who lives here. If they are not employed in this district then they have a job inside the Sun district.
 

Cross Pass

Made up of smaller areas:
    • Leather industry
    • Writing industry
    • Metal industry
The district was first named Crossroad Pass, but over time people have started calling it Cross Pass. Cross pass has no large residential area, there are a few houses here and there. Mostly the shop owners of fabric mangers are living inside this area.
 

Moon Dale

Overall, is a comfortable lifestyle district. Made up of smaller areas:
  • Metal industry
  • Raw food industry
  • Market and trade
Just like with Cross Pass there are few houses throughout this district. It is also the district that houses the Moon temple. It is not being used as a place of worship, but more like a gathering place. Specially during the Festival of the Sun and Moon.
 

Coseave

Overall, is a comfortable lifestyle district.Made up of smaller areas:
  • Magic industry
  • Textile industry
  • The district was first named Cosy Weave, but over time people have started calling it Coseave. This district has only three houses where one large family lives. All of them are Witch Doctors.
     

    Modest Districts

      The modest district is for the working class, often both parents working well paying jobs and the children are being raised by the grandparents. They do need to live paycheck to paycheck, but as they have some savings to back it up.  

    Star District

    Overall, is a modest lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
    • Textile industry
    • Residential
    • Construction industry
    The Star district is inside the walls and has a large population. The most of the residents are working inside one of the industries, that are present in this district or they branch out to the factories inside the Sun district. None of them are working outside the city walls.
     

    Kupita

    Overall, is a modest lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:  
    • Construction industry
    • Writing industry
    • Breweries
    Kupita is a lively place to be there are a lot of taverns and inns inside this part of the city. This is because of the booming Breweries. The people that do life here are the owners of those taverns and inns. The most famous inn is the Njiwa Nyeupe, also known as the white dove. They have the nicest beer, mead and the finest adult entertainment.
     

    Southambles

    Overall, is a modest lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
    • Leather industry
    • Raw food industry
    • Market and trade
    The district was first named South Shambles, but over time people have started calling it Southambles. There are a few residential buildings inside this area, but not much. Most of the people living here are working on the animal farms or with leather.
     

    Palisad

    Overall, is a modest lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
    • Market and trade
    • Textile industry
    • Residential
    Palisad is an area where people work with fabric and most of the time cotton. The district is bordering with the large graveyard. It also borders Ashtune which is home to a crime gang named Usiku wa manane mbaya. Who's activities are bleeding into Palisad more often then not.
     

    Simpleard

     
    Overall, is a modest lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
    • Market and trade
    • Residential
    The district was first named Simple Ward, but over time people have started calling it Simpleard. And life here is indeed simple. It had the headquarters of the Mercenaries guilt Isiyo na wakati.
     

    Poor Districts

    These people are not starving, but they do not have any savings to their name. The children of these people most often preform light tasks inside the factories, like sweeping floors when the machines do not work. Feed the animals, weeding, or grabbing piles of parchment and paper. The children however do get an education inside those workplaces. Which results in them having a job in said workplace.  

    Ukuta

    Overall, is a poor lifestyle district. Made up of smaller areas:
    • Writing industry
    • Textile industry
    • Residential
    • Construction industry
    • Raw food industry
    Ukuta is a district beyond the wall and a lot of people are living there. There are a lot of places inside the district where people can work. But they also work in the factories and other businesses inside Dunstead. It is also home to the thieves' guild Undugu wa Usiku.
     

    Seremala

    Overall, is a poor lifestyle district. Made up of smaller areas:
    • Construction industry
    • Ceramic industry
    • Magic industry
    • Market and trade
    • Breweries
    • Metal industry
    • Tanners
    Seremala is a large area, and has a lot of places where people work. They often work in shifts so that these factories and stay operational, these shifts are not for the children, they only come to work during the day. The workers do not have to worry about lunch, breakfast or dinner. Because that is being provided by the company. Although it is not much, and is only served if you are working inside that time frame.
     

    Squalid Districts

    It is this part of the city that most of the time is being avoided. There has been attempts to get this districts out of the state they are in. But it simply those not work. No matter how much time, money and effort goes into them. These districts are the breeding ground for small criminal organizations, that destroy every attempt that is being made, afraid to lose control.    

    Mchafu

    Overall, is a squalid lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
    • Writing industry
    • Leather industry
    • Market and trade
    • Residential
    The citizens who live here, often life with four families in one house. This because it is too expensive to afford a house, or rent one. There are many work options inside this district, so or working machines. Most of the time they receive a small education, so that they can work when the adults are done with the heavy machinery. Every month there is a soup kitchen set up, by Witch Doctors. So that everybody can get a good meal and a health check-up.
       

    Ashtun

    Overall, is a squalid lifestyle district.   Made up of smaller areas:
    • Residential
    The district was first named Ash Town, but over time people have started calling it Ashtun. It is an only residential district, this because it is home the crime gang named Usiku wa manane mbaya. So no business is willing to set up shop there, it also borders with the large graveyard.
       

    Industry districts

    There are no people living inside these districts, and are shops, factories and farms. They are offering employment to those who can not find it in their own district. There is only one rule those outside of the wall can not work inside the Sun District. And those inside of the wall can not work in the factories outside the wall.

    History

    The city started with the palace and then the surrounding houses of the nobles, back then there was no queen, but there was a palace.   The First queen was crowned in the year 200, and the city pretty much just inside the walls. Now there is a city growing outside the walls as well. The residents who lived in the Sun district then moved towards the other districts in the city or to the residential area's outside the wall.

    Tourism

    Because this is the capital it has a lot of tourism, it is also a hotspot for trade.
