Way of The Soulbound Sanctum Building / Landmark in Zepharog | World Anvil

Way of The Soulbound Sanctum

Design

A 20x30x60ft room with a pristine white, the smell of recent paint has taken over, but minus the fact, the ceilings and walls have sharp jagged edges of rock and stone protruding from it, it's very beautiful. The room has an oval shape to it and there is a 60ft statue of a physical form of The Dracaena Sign. The starry draconic physique pairing through with some humanoid aspects like draconic-humanoid legs and arms, the tail coming out of the base and start of the back, the statue is covered in gems to symbol the stars.

Entries

There is the main 20ft open doorway that is the only entrance/exit out of the place of worship.

Sensory & Appearance

The icy cold stare of the statue makes the room feel of warmth with comfort, The room itself is chilly from the less exposed part of the mountain to the moons. The room has many different light sources from glowing crystals and the Zenyki Sign contained in jars, the sight of the captured Sign is beautiful rocks, fire, electricity, storms, and a faint show of Ether, all swirling into one ball giving a calming glow from it. These bottles placed every 5ft on the walls and on the ceiling there is the Lunoris Sign spread across the entirety of the room.

Denizens

The many monks of the Way of the Soulbound are found here nearly on a routine timer every 3 or so hours and they'll return to this room and meditate for another 3 hours.

Contents & Furnishings

There are multiple pillows and incense burning throughout the room. The large floor mat on the ground makes the ground less cold and comfier to rest their knees.

Valuables

The only thing that would have jewels in this room is the Offering Bowl. Which is for the Dracaena statue. This bowl is made with gold and has gems encrusting the sides of it and 3 draconic heads looking into the bowl. Each a different color and has gems for eyes, different color gems on each head. This is placed in the hands of the Dracaena statue, the head looking at it.

Architecture

Tall 20ft spires, semi fused with the mountains, caves where people might be, the blackened charcoal look of the exterior covers the gold and whites trimmed with each building. There are blues on some of the buildings and the sanctum goes deeper into the mountain like someone took a stronghold and fused it with the mountain, with only the spires and watchtowers are the only things visible. The ash flowing from the mountain, large dust storms, and clouds of rust and sandstone. 15mph winds upon getting closer to the outside of the sanctum.

Environmental Effects
The room has an anti-magick/Sign barrier to prevent any harm from Signs or other magicks. The barrier at the door also dispels anything that crosses it temporarily while in the room. Upon leaving the magicks are restored. It is slightly more humid than any other area in here.
