SDN-6 Strategic Data Nexus Headset
Within GuardCorps armories, SDN-6 headsets are reserved for Tactical Auditors, high-level logistics coordinators, and battlefield commanders. Each headset incorporates a variety of zeotech to aid in the user’s visualization of data, from three-dimensional maps of a region to data streams passing between communication relays.
In a combat capacity, each headset provides a platform for surveying the real-time position and status of allied units (including zeos) and assessing the quantity, strength, and deployment of enemy units, including aircraft and defensive structures. All of this information is assessed by the SDN-6’s onboard computers, which provide analyses on various courses of action, such as charges, retreats, and artillery barrages.
In an electronic warfare role, the SDN-6 allows the user to monitor a wide variety of communication frequencies, identify enemy channels, and selectively jam them. From there, the user can dynamically modulate their interference to make it harder to diagnose and counter. To opposing forces, the arrival of a Tactical Auditor is usually signaled by a sudden degradation of communication channels and data uploads across a battlefront, often prompting the enemy to activate seek-and-destroy teams to locate and eliminate the cyber-threat.
